Analyst/Senior Analyst - Financial & Valuation Advisory

Job Description :

- Support discussions with senior client executives and management

- Draft and review analyses and findings for delivering unbiased advice to management for their records or inclusion in transaction advisory reports specific to key technical issues

- Develop and review financial models / financial reports

- Research technical guidance and market practices around accounting and financial reporting issues

- Develop industry skills and qualifications

- Review transaction agreements, customer and supplier contracts

- Collaborate closely with corporate finance, valuation and financial restructuring colleagues

Qualifications :

- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with an exceptional work ethic, and have a demonstrated ability and desire to work cooperatively with team members and client professionals

- CA/ CWA/ ACCA/ CPA

- Demonstrated professional achievement and client service excellence

- A minimum of 2 years of Big 4 or large accounting firm external audit experience OR 1 year of accounting advisory experience (or combination thereof) with a Big 4 or a large accounting firm, providing accounting and financial reporting advisory services

- Demonstrated understanding and application of capital markets and valuation concepts

- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) OR Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including SEC reporting, purchase accounting, GAAP conversion, technical accounting support and transaction related issues

- Strong analytical abilities

- Working knowledge of financial reporting packages (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.) is helpful

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and common database systems

- Exposure to data analytics tools is preferred

- Ability and desired willingness to travel

- The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast paced culture
