JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for bright individuals with excellent analytical and communication skills for our Financial Operations group, in project Arcesium. Arcesium is a technology and post-trade services firm jointly owned by the D. E. Shaw group and Blackstone Alternative Asset Management. The ideal candidate should have upto 2 years- experience and an MBA with a specialization in Finance. Responsibilities include liaising with the front office, treasury, counterparties, and external auditors.

The Financial Operations group is an integral part of our global operations. If hired, you will support some of the functions mentioned below.

Trade Accounting and Operations: Fund accounting, resolution of trade and settlement issues, and provide business analysis to firm wide STP initiatives

Middle Office: Support proprietary trading activities, transaction management, and reference data management
