Analyst/Senior Analyst - Economist - Bank

Job opportunity with one of leading global bank based in Mumbai.

The job description as follows:

- Developing (and maintaining) quantitative models for nowcasting, forecasting, simulation and other types of analysis of macroeconomic developments in various regions and globally

- Collecting, processing and analyzing economic, financial, social and political data from a variety of databases and using a variety of methodologies

- Experience in working with quantitative (in particular macro-econometric) models.

- Experience in collecting, processing and analyzing data in a largely self-directed manner.

- Demonstration of an understanding and enthusiasm for economic, political economy and market analysis.

- Familiarity with macroeconomic and financial concepts and major economic databases
