Equity Derivatives Trading (Analyst / Sr Analyst / Associate)

Job Summary :

Global Equity Derivatives (GED) is one of key business within Global Markets Equity division. The Flow & Exotics desk within GED offers bespoke products to clients ranging from vanilla equity options to more exotic products on indices and single stocks. The desk performs primary market pricing, pricing secondary market unwinds, pricing of single stock baskets for option overwriting programs, risk management, bespoke market data analytics and involvement in building DBA based prices for frequently traded structures like autocalls, lookbacks etc. The team also maintains volatility, dividend and repo curves required for pricing for all the stocks of the APAC universe and selected names of EMEA.

Key requirements :

- 1-8 years of experience

- Engineering /Maths background

Experience : Quant modeling / research / pricing

Shift - 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Key responsibilities for this role will include :

- Working as part of Flow & Exotics equity derivatives trading desk to monitor risk on the books

- Pricing and quoting of exotic options for the Structured Products Trading Desk

- Booking of exotics trades for the Structured Products Trading Desk

- Run quantitative and technical analysis to develop trading and hedging strategies

- Build customized tools and work on bespoke projects that can help in better analyzing trades

The ideal candidate will have experience within a financial services environment and should demonstrate the following :

- Strong academic background

- Good analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organizational and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure & always with a professional demeanor

- Proactive in terms of business development and effective communication to deliver projects

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management

- Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizing multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines

- The ability to identify process efficiencies, suggest improvements and implement where feasible
