To perform all the day-to-day delivery activities of the GRSS operations across all Resilience areas and support the operations manager / Delivery Manager to delivery and execute the activities/requests.

Main function of the job:

Key accountabilities of the role are to:

Service Delivery - 80%

1. Oversee and manage the GRSS Helpdesk providing advice and guidance to issues/queries related to Group Resilience raised by Business Units, Resilience Coordinators, Resilience Partners and staff globally

2. Deliver all activities provided by the delivery team across all GRSS Service areas including but not limited to

a. Recovery Plan Development and Maintenance

b. Business Validation Activities across all strategies

c. Technology Validation Activities (DCR/PATS )

d. Call Notifications (BAlert) exercises

e. Providing regular/ad-hoc compliance and capability reports

f. Monitor compliance with Barclays Group Resilience policies and standards in all aspects of delivery

g. Support the operations/ Delivery mangers for the daily reporting activities and management of data on the GRSS SharePoint.

GRSS Management Support - 20%

Analyse operational performance and provide feedback and suggested improvements to the GRSS management team

Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders across Group Resilience and the wider business by providing resilience guidance and support Actively participate and co-ordinate projects and initiatives within GRSS and GR globally

Skills and knowledge:

1. Excellent service delivery skills and exposure in shared service environment

2. Good negotiation skills with ability to handle requests and helpdesk

3. Builds collaborative relationships with others to help create a flexible organization

4. Good stakeholder management skills across all levels/unit of an organisation

5. Maintains high standards of personal integrity, whilst demonstrating respect for other viewpoints

6. Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to interact and influence at certain levels of the organisation

Knowledge, Expertise and Qualifications:

1. 2-4 yrs experience of working in service delivery operations/shared services, relationship management specifically in service industry

2. Good working knowledge of process and procedures for Business Continuity, Recovery Strategy Validation activities, IT DR testing, Crisis Management etc...

3. Strong working knowledge of industry standards/best practices around Service Delivery and Resilience

4. Strong experience in Resilience / Business Continuity implementation in global organisations

5. Strong working knowledge of risk and control environments

6. Experience in Service Delivery Operations / Risk functions / Resilience/Business Continuity
