Job Description -

- Our client is a renowned private equity house, working with high caliber entrepreneurs to find solutions that transform the sectors they invest in. They are looking to hire an Analyst to join the team.

- The roll will engage across all functions of the firm and will have exposure to the entire deal process from origination and due-diligence through deal structuring and post-investment portfolio management. This role is a balance between financial analysis, business strategy, and sharp execution. The ideal candidate is interested in growing businesses, has superior analytical skills, is extremely organized and has good communication skills.

Candidates who take initiative, have a tremendous work ethic and a high level of maturity are considered ideal.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assisting all investment initiatives throughout various stages:

- Market analysis

- Competitor mapping

- Financial modeling

- Deal closure amongst other key responsibilities

2. Actively managing the portfolio companies by conducting regular financial and business reviews with the management teams.

3. Partner with Portfolio, industry leaders and peers to collaborate on key initiatives and leverage best practices in strategy development

4. Interact with global counterparts to identify and maximize potential of business opportunities and decisions

5. Review business and trade publications, annual reports, financial filings and other sources in order to gather, synthesize and interpret data on companies and sectors

Job Qualifications -

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a quantitative discipline (preferred), or 1 to 3 years of experience in a financial role (IB or Investing)

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

- Ability to adapt to new challenges and deep dive into diverse sectors

- Keen attention to details

- Ability to prioritize deliverables and meet demanding deadlines

- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment or individually

- Strong analytical skills

- Previous valuation and financial modeling experience is a plus

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required

Candidates from top colleges like IIT, St Stephens, SRCC etc, with two years experience with a reputed bank or back end of top consulting firm would be given preference.
