Position - Performance Management Analyst

Location - Mumbai

Must be a Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities :

- We are looking for a Performance Management Professional who will be skilled in operational and financial analysis, reporting and financial modeling. The selected candidate will report to a Manager in the Group Performance Management function.

- The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player committed to learning and development with very good communication and inter-personal skills to work with various stakeholders including their counterparts in other Group finance functions as well the performance management teams at operating units of the Group.

The role:

She/he will:

- Ensure the accuracy of the management reporting and managerial KPIs as defined by the Group.

- Analyze the business performance of the assigned business units vs. budget and forecast, understand the key drivers for the variances and present the same for management review.

- Engage with the operating unit finance function and develop relationships.

- Gain a deeper understanding of the business and provide early warning of any performance issues.

- Support the Group budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of performance management processes

- Provide support in the preparation of the quarterly earnings release, biannual and annual reports

- Engage with various cross functional departments (mainly compliance, controlling, treasury, tax, investor relations, M&A) as required.

Must have :

- Must be a Chartered Accountant, preferably having qualified in the first attempt and having completed articleship training with Big 4 or large Indian audit firms.

- Mobility: Must be prepared for relocation to any global location in the next 2-3 years

- Analytical and critical thinking skills of a high order.

- Be a self-starter. Take initiative and be pro-active. Curious and eager to learn and improve

- 8-10 years experience of financial and / or operational analysis, reporting or financial planning & analysis.

- Outstanding people skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

- Languages: English (native/fluent), any other language is an advantage.
