Analyst - PE Firm

The Firm leverages best in class operational and people management skills and best practices to manage businesses where domain is seeded and revenue model is firmly established. The Firm maintains a disciplined and consistent investment philosophy built on leveraging the right geography for capacity, content and cost arbitrage in deep domain segments.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Research/Market Research/ Private Equity/Investment or Transaction advisory domain

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- The professional will assist in all initiatives in the stages of an investment life cycle. These include market analysis, competitor mapping, financial modeling and support in deal closure amongst other key responsibilities.

- Perform extensive primary and secondary research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, industry, company,competitor activity.

- Analyse industry macro trends and company financials.

- Analyse and synthesize business research findings to present valuable insights and strategic recommendations to business leadership

- Interact with global counterparts to identify and maximise potential of business opportunities and decisions

- Partner with peers and leaders to collaborate on key initiatives and leverage best practices in strategy development

- Review business and trade publications, annual reports, financial filings and other sources in order to gather, synthesize and interpret data on companies and sectors.

- Design and create error-free, client-ready presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

KEY SKILLS:

- Knowledge of financial modeling, market research techniques & project management methodologies

- Strong understanding of data analytical processes.

- Experience of translating research finding into actionable insights

- Strong client service-focused approach

- Proactive and comfortable in addressing ambiguity and delivering unique insights

- Articulate and Excellent Communication skills

- Leadership skills, pro-active, persuasive orientation

- Strong Presentation making skills

- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word is required.
