Job Responsibilities:
- Working with Treasury and Finance professionals, Risk Managers and individuals within businesses in order to understand and dimension, report, monitor and communicate risks.
- Work with members of the team, Business Treasurers and Independent Risk to assess the reasonability and completeness of the assumptions used to produce the results
- The role will create a focused balance sheet analysis and risk management capability within the wider BSM team which will also have responsibility for treasury related management information. It is a key part of the control framework within the team, providing a capability to calculate and report risk metrics
- The Job holder is obliged to abide by any additional instructions provided by his Manager with respect to the scope of work.
Educational Qualifications:
Maths/Engineering Degree with CFA/FRM. MBA would be an added plus
Professional Experience:
Minimum 5 years banking out of which 3 years should be in Treasury middle office/risk management
Personal requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of treasury and capital market products
- Excellent knowledge of derivatives and underlying mathematics
Excellent quantitaive skills
- Good knowledge of market, credit, liquidity, operational and compliance risk management
- Knowledge of Bank Operations
- Good leadership and management capability
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Language proficiency - English (compulsory) , Arabic (desirable)
- Strategic thinking
- Superior Analytical skills

- Proficient in the use of windows
