Your Role:

- Help shape, contribute to and execute this new teams strategic objective, becoming a core member of the team, willing to take a key role in sharing knowledge and developing junior team members.

- Provide detailed analytical insight into the financial strength and performance of global reinsurance counterparties, through a process of rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis.

- You will control a portfolio of companies and when required, will be responsible for engaging with senior management.

- Analyse and interpret global events, to the extent that they impact the reinsurance market and our clients.

- Use our research to produce and deliver both written and verbal reports to a range of stakeholders, including both internal and external clients.

- Analyse and interpret financial statements and financial databases, to produce quantitative analysis of market/ peer performance and trends.

- Respond quickly and in an innovative way, to ad-hoc client or RFP requests for information and support, either verbally or via other formats.

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

- A strong analytical mind set, coupled with an entrepreneurial desire to successively build, grow and develop the team

- Experience of analysing financial statements would be advantageous and capable of producing high quality written reports.

- An understanding of key accounting concepts and a foundation in the fundamentals of financial statements

- Excellent English skills, with track record of successful verbal and written communication

- A developed knowledge and understanding of the global (re)insurance market, incorporating an awareness of various market participants, including: rating agencies, global regulators and Lloyds of London
