Analyst - Market Research - Venture Capital Firm

Analyst with a VC firm

Deal Evaluation :

- Conduct detailed evaluation of the company basis historical data, management discussions / interviews, market research.

- Do in depth research about the industry / sector the company is operating in (including doing competitor analysis), to form a view on whether the Fund should invest or not.

Investment Recommendation :

- Prepare for Investment Committee discussions to take decision on investing in company prepare note, backup number analysis / financials, do additional analysis as per discussions.

Portfolio Management :

- Prepare for periodic conversations with the portfolio companies by preparing the appropriate MIS for discussions, run the meetings and follow up on next steps coming out of the conversations.

- Work closely with the founders / management team of the portfolio companies to assist them in their early journey.

Fund Management :

- Collaborate with the Compliance Officer and the fund management partners as per need (may require coordination with the portfolio companies or other activities).

Research and Analysis :

- Stay updated on industry trends, market research, and competitor analysis.
