Position Name - Pricing Analyst / Pricing Manager
Location - Mumbai
Experience Range - 3 years+
Salary Range - 22 - 35 LPA
Mandatory Requirement:
1) Work experience as a pricing / category leader for at least 36 months in an e-commerce firm.
2) Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases (SQL exposure a must).
3) Experience in retail / FMCG, understanding various pricing strategies and algorithm based pricing optimization levers.

Job Role and Responsibilities:
As part of the Revenue team, you will be a part of the pricing function which plays a critical role in the overall growth of various categories
1. Be a growth leader for the business, drive all developments pertaining to pricing strategy for the various businesses. Develop rules that will become the cornerstone of the pricing strategy for various categories.
2. Impact customer funnel and lifecycle by creating the best priced perception in the mind of the customers
3. Lead the prioritization and development of the category, and to maximize overall profitability. by applying understanding of retailer economics, product lifecycle management and inventory control to drive profitable volume. To apply consumer and marketplace insights to maximize return from consumer and product segments.
4. Work with various internal stakeholders like the category management team, In App merchandising team to evaluate inputs and make pricing interventions that help drive growth
5. Proactively understand consumer behavior, spot trends in the market.
6. Conduct regular promotional analysis. To develop in-store discount strategies for the brand / categories to deliver category goals and performance targets.
7. Collate market information for understanding competition trends, consumer preferences and fine-tuning the pricing strategy basis these inputs. Ability to evaluate and implement pricing tools available in the market or develop the same with the tech team
8. Support business decisions by formulating hypotheses, structured problem solving, analyze relevant data to verify hypotheses and prepare documentation to communicate the results with insights.
Qualification and Experience:
MBA / Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
Able to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment and to interact effectively with all levels of management.
