Job Description

Business/Department Objectives:

- Provide analytic support to the business teams, understand the business context and formulate and execute appropriate analytical approach (es) to address the business situation. Independently manage end to end partner communication

Core Responsibilities:

Analytic Project Execution:

- Own and deliver consistently on multiple and complex analytic projects. This would require an understanding of business context and the ability to formulate and execute analytic approaches to address the business situation

Business Knowledge:

- Develop an understanding of the domain/function. Manage business process (es) in the work area. The individual is expected to develop domain expertise in his/her work area

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Teamwork:

- Develop cross-site relationships to enhance leverage of ideas. Set and manage partner expectations. Coach and mentor new hires in the team

Communication:

- Independently manage end to end project communication across the various levels in the organization.

- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS/SQL and complex data sources

Required Qualifications

Education:

- Master's in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Administration, Economics etc. from Premier Institute or a track record of performance that demonstrates this ability

Experience:

- 3-5 years Experience in Financial Services/Analytics Industry

- Understanding of the financial services business

Skills:

Established competency in one or more of the following:

- Financial Analysis

- Machine Learning (R, python)

- Statistical Modelling

- Strong analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability

- Strong presentation and communication skills

- Strong process/project management skill

- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS/SQL and complex data sources.
