- Relevant Experience into Fund Accounting.

- Good knowledge and experience on Private Equity, Hedge Funds.

- Should have experience in preparing Financial Statements.

- Positing Journal entries.

- Calculating Management fee & Performance fee & NAV.

Role Summary:

- The Fund Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of fund investments, including private equity and hedge funds.

- This role will involve preparing financial statements, posting journal entries, and calculating management fees, performance fees, and net asset values (NAVs).

Key Responsibilities :

Perform accurate and timely fund accounting for private equity and hedge fund investments.

- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Post journal entries for fund transactions, including investments, dividends, interest income, and expenses.

- Calculate management fees and performance fees based on fund performance and contractual agreements.

- Determine the net asset value (NAV) of each fund on a regular basis.

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

- Prepare investor reports, including quarterly and annual reports. Assist with audits conducted by external auditors.

Skills and Experience :

- Relevant experience in fund accounting, particularly for private equity and hedge funds.

- Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, Advent).

- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.

- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in accounting processes.

- Effective communication skills to interact with investors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

- CPA or CFA certification (preferred but not required).

- Experience with investment accounting systems and databases.

- Knowledge of investment vehicles, including private equity and hedge funds.
