Job Title: FP&A Analyst (Mumbai-based MNC)


Location: Mumbai, India

Experience Required: 5-8 years

Education: Chartered Accountancy, Cost & Management Accountancy, or MBA (Finance) from a reputable B-School

Job Description:

- Dominic Lewis has been mandated to hire an FP&A Analyst for a Mumbai-based multinational corporation. The FP&A Analyst will serve as the custodian and process owner for Finance & Controlling functions within the shared service center for respective entities.

Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on actuals and forecasts for corporate reporting.

- Variance Analysis: Prepare accurate and insightful variance reports, analyzing deviations/exceptions against budget and forecast.

- Process Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish processes for data collection and maintenance of master data/conditions to ensure accurate costing results.

- Reporting Support: Produce recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses for the Business Unit.

- Audit Support: Support audit processes with efficient and standardized reports for statutory, internal, and SOX audits.

Level of Autonomy:

- The job holder is empowered to prepare and provide data, information, and reports for multiple stakeholders within the Finance department without seeking prior approval from higher management.

Job Requirements:

- Strong analytical and fact-based approach, capable of working independently.

- Educational background in Chartered Accountancy, Cost & Management Accountancy, or MBA (Finance) from a reputable B-School, coupled with relevant experience.

- 5 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis/project controlling roles.

- Previous experience in the chemical manufacturing industry within a global multinational organization.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Business Warehouse, PowerBi, and SAP Analytical Cloud.

- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Comfortable operating in a demanding environment within an international context.

- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering enthusiasm, driving change, and making decisions based on analytical and factual evidence.
