FP&A Analyst- Remote (Media Industry)

JD:

- 5+ years of prior experience in a corporate FP&A setting, investment banking or public accounting setting

- Experience with global, multi-entity organizations

- Experience developing and applying KPIs

- Experience identifying incomplete or flawed data, identifying root cause and implementing solutions or workarounds

- Experience manipulating large, complicated and disparate datasets in to digestible and actionable analysis a must

- Expert-level Microsoft Excel capabilities

- Strong academic credentials, including a bachelor's degree in finance, business or a relevant field

- Experience with financial reporting software packages (i.e. FYISoft, Prophix, Anaplan, Vena, Datarails, etc.)

- Experience with cloud-based ERP systems (i.e. Acumatica, Netsuite, SAP, Sage, etc.)

Key Responsibility:

- Build and manage a sophisticated FP&A infrastructure to translate company specific, as well as external industry data, into the key strategic inputs and insights that will drive forward-thinking business decisions in support of the company's growth plans

- Develop new and improve existing workflows used in the generation of timely and accurate financial statements, including the amalgamation of disparate datasets from various systems. Develop and maintain existing reporting packages in Company's financial reporting software

- Generate workflows and templates to improve and streamline financial and operational reporting.

- Partner with leaders to model and analyze key businesses and product initiatives in support of faster, more analytical decision making

- Partner with global and local controllers in assisting with month-end accounting processes, particularly those involving large datasets

- Deliver consistent, timely monthly reporting packages covering financial and operational performance metrics and trends to executive leadership and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge or exposure to SQL and business intelligence platforms

- MBA or CMA/M.COM

Note: Candidate from media industries will be preferred with global client exposure.

Shift timings: (3 PM-12 am, IST) (US & UK Coverage )
