Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities of our organization. Your insights and recommendations will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and overall business performance. This position is based in India and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities :
- Financial Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the annual operating budget and long-term strategic plans. Provide support in the creation of financial models, scenario analysis, and forecasting including preparation of Financials on a month on month basis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial forecasts, including revenue projections, expense budgets, and cash flow analysis. Monitor actual performance against budget, identify variances, and provide timely explanations and recommendations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess business performance, identify trends, and evaluate key financial metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability, cost-efficiency, and resource allocation.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and present regular management reports, including financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Summarize complex financial data into clear and concise presentations for executive-level review.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with business stakeholders across departments to understand their financial needs, provide guidance, and support decision-making. Act as a strategic partner by proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, investment analysis, and decision support. Perform sensitivity analysis and evaluate the financial impact of various business initiatives
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve reporting efficiency. Develop and implement best practices, standardized templates, and automation tools.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure financial activities adhere to regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal control policies. Assist with internal and external audits, as needed.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA is a must. (CFA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and budgeting processes.
- Proficient in using financial software and ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
