Analyst - Financial Analysis & Modeling - Investment Banking Firm

Our client is a Top Investment Banking Firm and is looking for smart self driven individuals to be part of its "Digital / Tech / New Age Business Investment Banking Team" in Mumbai

We are looking for someone who has 2 to 5 years of experience in Investment Banking/Strategy Consulting/ Startup Corp Dev Roles. Preference will be given to those with experience in the New Age / Digital / Technology / Startups space

Roles and Responsibilities:

1] Responsible for financial analysis & modeling

2] Preparing detailed papers on financial, business , strategy & research on companies & industries.

- Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations

3] Organize and participate in ideation session / meetings

4] Evaluate and provide inputs /comments on Share Purchase Agreements / Shareholder Agreement / MOU

5] Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors

6] Ensure due diligence, collection, collation and analysis of client information, financial implications, regulatory implications for documentation purpose

7] Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements

Skills Required:

1] Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp business, strategic & financial fundamentals of companies & industries

2] Financial skills including ability to understand & interpret financial statements, to build financial models and perform valuation analysis

3] Ability to create effective research papers and presentations

4] Strong communication skills and ability to handle senior personnel

5] Ability to exercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations

6] Ability to balance multiple engagements and responsibilities

7] High motivation, desiring autonomy and empowerment to manage self

8] Ability to handle the execution process independently and handling client queries effectively

9] Good Presentation skills - creating / formatting power point presentations

10] Well versed with Excel/drafting skills
