Analyst - European Capital Goods Equity Research Team

We are hiring for a Capital Goods analyst for one of our leading client based in Mumbai. Role details are given below:

Our client is looking for a Capital Goods analyst to work with European Capital Goods Equity Research team. The analyst will need to own equity coverage within sub-sectors, interact with buy-side clients to offer them an investment advice, and drive an improvement in overall broker votes.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for covering companies within a specified sector or product.

- Make timely and accurate stock recommendations, update coverage and earnings on each covered company regularly

- Maintain a consistent flow of high quality actionable/ commercial research product with investment recommendations

- Proactively improve service to our core clients with regular calls, meetings and service requests, where service is required

- To work closely with Research Marketing, sales, sales trading, trading (market makers), to ensure dissemination of information and coordinated flow of information to clients.

- Maintain regular contact with management of company under coverage

- Provide Investor Access for our core client

- Drive an improvement in overall broker votes

- Provide timely input and support to global sectors, strategy product (including ESG), multi-sector and multi-product pieces as required

- Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment.

Qualification / Skills required

- MBA / CA / CFA educational background

- NISM Certification Examination for Research Analysts as specified by the Board or other certification recognized by the Board from time to time

- Minimum 5 years- experience as an associate/lead analyst in covering equities in Capital Goods/ Industrials / Contractors/ Technology / Oil & Gas/ M&M

- Prior lead equity coverage along with client servicing can give you additional advantage
