Job Role:

- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on listed companies, focusing on sectors relevant to retail investors.

- Prepare detailed financial models, company reports, and industry analysis to support investment recommendations for retail clients.

- Provide insights into market trends, stock performance, and investment strategies tailored for retail investors.

- Regularly update research reports, monitor market developments, and make adjustments to investment recommendations as needed.

- Present investment ideas and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, ensuring they are easily understandable for retail clients.

- Respond to client queries, providing market updates and explaining research findings in layman's terms.

- Track key economic indicators, news, and events that could impact the performance of retail investor portfolios.

- Collaborate with sales and trading teams to provide actionable insights and facilitate the execution of client trades.

- Maintain a strong understanding of the retail client base and their specific investment needs, adjusting research accordingly.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards in all research outputs.

Qualifications:

- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in equity research, particularly in retail-focused investment strategies.

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, company valuation techniques, and market analysis.

- Knowledge of the retail investment landscape, including risk tolerance, product preferences, and investment objectives.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-expert clients.

- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with a passion for research and staying updated on market trends.

- Proficient in using financial databases, research platforms, and Microsoft Excel for modeling and analysis.

- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple research projects simultaneously.

- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance guidelines governing equity research.
