Analyst, Equities and Fund Structuring

- Make sure that EV of the trades are correct.

- Provide Stress Testing / Back Testing of various strategies and models

- Provide pricing support to the structuring team. Acting as a central hub for structuring and coordinating between regions. Running analysis on complex payouts

- Trade Lifecycle Management, Making sure that the data for the trades/strategies is maintained. Work with IT team to add vols/missing correlations etc.

- Provide data Maintenance once the trades/strategies have been executed which would involve time series / missing price reconciliation, investigating large P&L swings, corporate action support etc

- Perform scenario analysis and MC simulation for new trades and hedging strategies

- Build templates for common trades

- Preparatory work for Index Development, Back Testing / Stress Testing for strategies. Providing Industry intelligence

- Marketing Work, Prepare marketing presentation updates for clients. Perform monthly/bespoke performance attribution analysis

- Develop analytical tools using Excel/Visual Basic, working closely with the Desk and Technology.

- Work with VP, Directors and Managing Directors in New York, London and Singapore

Risk and Control objective :

- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, banks Operational Risk Framework and internal banks Policies and Standards.

Person Specification :

- Engineering/MBA Graduate required

- 1 - 3 years of experience in Derivatives in investment banks.

- Strong understanding of Equity Derivatives

- Strong co-ordination skills to manage multiple tasks

- Excellent Programming skills including Excel/VBA

- Eye for Detail, Need to make sure all corporate actions are incorporated. Any missing prices are update

- Excellent communication skills (oral/written) as the candidate would have to work with New York team. They would have to speak to the traders. In addition they would have to work on Marketing Presentations which would require good written/presentation skills

- Analytical Skills

- Aptitude for self learning. Should be able to demonstrate a self starting attitude

- Proactive in nature. Should be able to take decisions and support those.
