Analyst - Debt & Equity - BFSI

We are Looking a dynamic Analyst (Debt & Equity) for our reputed Risk Management Firm in BKC, Mumbai

Mandate: CA/CFA (First Attempt)

Role:

We follow a 70:20:10 model. Employees spend 70 percent of their time in the services business i.e., advising clients on fund raising (debt and equity). Employees spend 20 percent of their time at the firm evaluating start up investments, meeting with start-up founders (across Seed, Series A and Series B) and churning fresh business ideas. The firm encourages its employees to spend their balance 10 percent of time in writing about business trends, brand building and analysing and commenting on historic deals.

Responsibilities :

- Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials i.e., IM & Financial Models to assist clients for fund raising (debt & equity)

- Assisting in structuring proposals focused on large-scale PPP projects in the infrastructure sector for (financial closure, refinancing, investments, divestments etc)

- Assisting in negotiating commercial terms & conditions for transactions with investors and lenders

- Ensuring all the commercial terms as per negotiations are reflected of legal documentation

- Advising on Mergers & Acquisitions & Private Equity Placements & Structured Debt transactions

- Identifying & evaluating promising start-ups across Seed, Series A and Series B

- Analysing, evaluating and writing about interesting trends and commenting on historic deals

Education/Experience:

- CA / CFA (First Attempt CA)

- Prior work / similar transaction experience in investment banking / debt syndication

- Strong Financial Modelling skills

- Good communication skills, articulate, professional, and adept at communicating across cultures, organization functions and agendas

- The incumbent should be intellectually sound with a keen analytical and logical mind with the ability to execute transactions independently

- Must have a demonstrated ability to work in a team
