The position requires someone with strong analytical, communications and management skills who can understand big picture and has in-depth understanding of the assigned business area. Should be able to act as the interface and thought leader while obtaining strong buy-in from all key stakeholders, internal and external. A balance of business, technical and domain understanding is paramount for success in this role.
I. Responsibilities:
- Perform account research, involved in account radiation plans for current customers
- Opportunity assessment for the current accounts or new prospects.
- Perform primary or secondary business or techno-functional research
- Create and update the business capabilities roadmap or industry value chain analysis
- Ability to learn, analyze, & present new technical and business trends and its impact on current business
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details
- Continuously and relentlessly increase awareness of available dataset and market intelligence tools, capabilities and practices
- Write Business Proposals & Presentations
II. Education/Experience:
- MBA from premier institute with 3 to 7 years experience in technology or consulting company with a minimum of 2.5+ years as a Business Analyst/Business Consultant
- Domain experience is Must, into at least 1 of Banking, Insurance, Media, Telecom
III. Requirements:
- Experience in Strategic Research, especially data analysis from different data sources
- Experience in primary or secondary research
- Knowledge of Business Process and Value Chain Modelling
- Experience in proposal, industry report, blog or white-paper writing

Strategy Consulting Experience with Consulting (PWC, BCG, Deloitte, EnY etc) Companies
