Analyst Business Communications


Purpose:

- The Business Communicator will focus on managing company's external and internal communications to promote a positive image and control the dissemination of information on company's behalf.


- This role is involved in the maintenance and production of the optimistic professional relationships between the company and public, handling different jobs related to web management, marketing, investor relations, public affairs, media relations, advertising/ social media, public relations, and publications.


- Overall responsible for the initiation and transfer of data and information to both the extrinsic and intrinsic public.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Develops content and creatively execute to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message for internal and external communication

- Internal communications (memos, newsletters, communication, policy etc.)

- Mass media communications (announcements, press releases etc.)

- Digital & Social media platform management for company and leadership (LinkedIn, Website, Twitter etc.)

- Develop and manage scientific and general media relations (in conjunction with co-founder PRs) and handle external requests for interviews, statements, media queries etc.

- Handle company's website and related queries

- Manage internal and external events (launches, events, conferences, seminars etc.)

- Partner with relevant business & human capital stakeholders on Internal and external communications

- Design & standardize communication templates & company branding

- Anchor executive team communications to larger team

- Develops an understanding of short- and long-term function goals and planned initiatives as per company communication strategy

- Stays informed of developments in the field of communication within the industry to foster ideas and innovation

Operating Network:

- Interface across various functions of the company to support communication support requirements of Management, Business Strategy, Commercial, Human Capital & Investors Relations.

Educational & Experience:

- Master's degree with previous working experience 5-8 years minimum in journalism, mass-communication, public relations, advertising, blogging etc. (experience in Life Science sector is a strong plus)

- Demonstrated experience in managing public, web and all types of social media communications (adequate knowledge about the social media equipment and advertising tools)

- Experience and deep connections in Indian and global media/PR houses

- Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital content management systems and design experience
