Analyst/Associate - Venture Capital - Private Equity Firm

Firm : Early stage venture capital and growth equity fund based in Mumbai. Focus on Agri, Food Processing, Consumer and related sectors.

Role : Venture Capital Analyst

Location : Mumbai

Specific Responsibilities Will Include:

- As an analyst, you will be responsible across the whole deal cycle, from sourcing and evaluation through to portfolio support.

- Lead sourcing, evaluation and value-add for agri,food processing,consumer and related growth industries,

- Monitor, track, and build relationships with start-ups relevant to our themes; build out sector maps and deep dives

- Work with and support our portfolio companies

- Preparing client reports and presentations

- Assisting with special reporting, research, and due diligence projects

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a real passion . They will likely exhibit:

- 1-4+ years of consulting, investment banking, PE/VC experience

- Ideally some form of entrepreneurial experience

- Strong analytic skills and ability to build valuation models

- Knowledge and/or understanding of the venture capital landscape

- Up to two years of relevant analytical experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, or similar fields

- Strong interest in investments and the capital markets

- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

- The ability and drive to add your own judgement to the investment process

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- An ability to build and maintain good relationships with people

- Curiosity, passion, a lot of energy, ambition and a great sense of humour
