Analyst/Associate - Impact Investing & Consulting

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the design and structuring of innovative finance products such as blended finance funds and impact bonds

- Conduct problem solving, research and analysis on a range of development, social and environment topics (e.g., cancer care in rural areas in India, financial & social inclusion in India, education financing, menstrual health and hygiene, regenerative agriculture, etc.)

- Develop and deliver structured communication to clients

- Support business development efforts (e.g., research and design new investments opportunities, outreach with potential partners and clients)

Qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field

- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics, Development, Public Administration) - a plus

- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience

- Experience in consulting

- Experience negotiating and closing financial transactions a plus

- Knowledge of and ability to apply key finance concepts

- Domain knowledge/experience in healthcare, education, livelihoods, climate and nature, or gender issues will also be considered favorably and should be specified

Skillset:

- Analytics: research; command of quantitative analysis and financial modeling

- Project management: ability to manage work streams independently in a fast-paced environment

- Client management: ability to present effectively and build strong relationship with clients

- Demonstrated fluency (spoken and written) in English.

- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

- Entrepreneurial mind-set and proactive workstyle
