Job Description

- The financial analyst would work closely with our internal product teams and external customers for our two products ANALEC Research wise and ANALEC Model Viewer. For more information on these please refer to the websites mentioned above. Specifically, the responsibilities would include:

- Acting as a subject matter expert in financial analysis

- Collecting and understanding client’s requirements from a finance perspective in terms of changes required to integrate Research wise with the existing client setup. This would require a thorough gap analysis of the changes that the client has asked for and identifying how they can be incorporated.

- Active discussion/communication with internal team and external clients on how the changes can be incorporated and what would be their pros and cons.

- Defining the project and scope.

- Supporting the product business analyst in documenting the business requirement. Communicate changes required to the development team.

- Implementing the changes and testing output.

- Actively handling client queries and providing solutions on issues raised by them.

- Work directly with the implementation team to ensure delivery and implementation of the software.

- Ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

Required Competencies

We are looking for candidates with the following skill set:

- Financial Analysis skills – Ability to elicit client’s requirements related to finance.

- Strong conceptual knowledge of accounting principles & financial management concepts

- Good Understanding of the inter-relationship between key Financial Statements.

- Technologies –Microsoft Office - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel/Word/Power point/Projects

- Must be a top 10% user of the MS Office package and aware of all functionality that helps the Business Analyst role

- Excellent oral, written and client presentation skills

- Ability to train and mentor junior resources
