Purpose
- Major Account Managers are responsible for providing business consulting to Major & Basic Accounts and provide support in the overall strategy that needs to be executed to strengthen revenue and ABO sustainability for Amway
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage assigned major & basic accounts end-to-end
- Supports the local execution of strategy
- Collaborate with their respective accounts and address challenges and leverage Amway's standard processes and resources in the best possible way
- Analyzing account's current situation and business requirements and supports in forming a tailored and consistent approach related to the account
- Responsible for driving account related deliveries & execution of meetings and visits
- Ensure quality of service delivery to ABOs
Deliver against specific KPIs :
- Achieve sales and ABO leadership targets
- Sales targets
- Customer acquisition & activation targets
- New business builder acquisition & activation targets
- PIN conversion / emerging leadership pipeline targets
- Award qualifications
- PIN migration and productivity targets
- Category balance for accounts
- Ensure provision of enablers / support to ABOs
- Drive internal teams coordination to achieve desired level of ABO experience
- Deliver on strategic initiatives related to sales and ensure market hygiene
Activities
- Consults with Major & Basic Account to create a plan to achieve success
- Supports in developing tailored messaging for specific ABOs to address their concerns
- Identifies patterns within qualification and re-qualification data to spot problems and trends
- Provides the Major Account with the information they need to identify where qualification/requalification breakdowns and obstacles occur
- Serves as the single point of contact for all business-related issues and requests for the respective basic/major accounts
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience:
- Sales experience within/ outside Amway highly desirable.
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Thorough understanding of ABO business model/ ASP desirable.
- Fluency in the local market language preferred
- Performance, results-driven and entrepreneurial personality
- Thorough understanding of ABO business model and Amway strategy
- Good consulting skills, networking and selling techniques
- Analytical skills
- Professional attitude and approach, Champion of customer service
- Principled and ethical character, passionate
- Ability to work under pressure, excellent time-management & prioritization
- Adaptable and flexible
- Extensive travel required
