Job Description:
1. Business Planning
- Plan and manage business expansion thru brand visibility and brand led business share.
- Plan and manage extraction of targeted business thru various verticals like channel, relationship & key accounts.
- Plan and organize infrastructure requirements to support the present and future business needs.
- Preparing budgets and analyzing the market.
- Collecting customer feedback as well as market research.
2. Business Intelligence
- To be vigilant about market intelligence which might affect current and future business prospects specifically w.r.t. industry, changes in statutory laws etc.
- To obtain information about competitive activities in the market, develop strategies to overcome the same and guide the team to steer through the same-
- Prices, schemes, route to market, relationship health of channel partners.
- New product plan/launch.
- Promo /marketing activities.
3. Sales
- Ensure achievement of sales targets of the Territory.
- Handling area assigned in terms of secondary sales growth.
- Ensuring proper supply of Coca-Cola products to retailers in effective and planned manner with zero demand and supply gap during peak season.
- Analyzing territory bases vs scope and making effective secondary plans distributor wise for completing sales targets.
- Optimizing selling effort at retailers' points
- Ensuring 100% target completion of all distributors and sub distributors (Spoke) assigned.
- Analyzing pack wise performance of distributors and making them aware of target vs completion status.
- Appointing new distributors in assigned area in case of closure of distributor operation if any or incase of other distractions.
- Implementation of the following strategies-
- Channel expansion -Quality and Quantity.
- Demand generation in all sectors thru channel.
- New market penetration. (Village)
- New Distributors appointment.
- Hub and Spocs appointment.
- Lead generation & conversion.
- Ensure implementation of RED.
- Drives focus products -New business as per key result areas for the period as per management strategy.
- Promptly responding to customer requests.
- Devise market/product specific schemes for the territories with a view to achieve competitive edge in the market.
4. Motivating, Training & Development
- Ensure a healthy work environment for people to perform efficiently.
- Assigning tasks to executives working under as per current business scenario which help them in achieving their goals.
- Conducting review meetings with team setting goals and providing them feedbacks on current performance and suggest them ways to improve it.
- Ensuring 100% target completion in terms of market execution by taking timely drives on cooler purity, ambient display etc
- To plan and develop competencies in the team (e.g., analytical abilities, selling skills, team management etc)
- Reviewing performance of team brand & pack wise and ensuring every team member has achieved his target on monthly and yearly basis.
- Training Need Analysis for the team members in assistance with the team.
5. Operation Controls & Improvement
- Reviews - Ensure Daily/ weekly /monthly review as planned and take corrective actions.
- Outstanding control - Personally monitor all outstanding of more than acceptable credit period in addition to reviewing overall collection efficiency.
- Inventory control
- Manage and control stocks within norms as per standards.
- Periodic clearance of stocks with close expiry dates.
- Manage discounts, Schemes in the best interest of the company and ensure fast & correct credit notes.
- Expense control - within Limits. Find suitable ways of limiting expenses as per benchmarks.
6. Reporting
- Making self and team PJP as per business priorities and submitting to concern department on time.
- Analyzing different reports of sales and providing inputs to team and distributors time to time for effective market working
- Updating daily working report to concern department &reporting manager
7. Customer Relationship
- Build strong business relationships with customers by adding value to the customer's business
- Ensuring regular visits in market by meeting with retailers & HVOs solving grievance if any also ensuring maximum share of Coke Products through service.
- Ensuring 100 % scheme distribution to retailers provided by the company.
- Ensuring effective distribution of execution material distribution to retailers provided by the company.
- Making every promo & offer effective provided by company to retailers and achieving sales numbers desired through promos.
8. Equipment Management
- Keep an eye on chilling equipment's in market and ensure purity & productivity by visiting market.
- Updating concern department in case equipment movement plan and ensuring zero misplace of chilling equipment's.
- Taking plan from executives and reverting back on time plan to concern department and seniors for new equipment deployment in market.
- Ensuring sufficient stock of chilling equipment on distributors as per demand of market and team and updating the same to seniors and concern department.
- Ensuring timely payment of chilling equipment sold in market to CDE department by distributors assigned.
