Job Description:

Key Responsibilities include:

- Lead a team of 8 individuals that that provide spend analysis for corporate clients globally to deepen client relationships with American Express by identifying mutually beneficial opportunities to move B2B spend to one or more American Express payment solutions (CPC, vPayment, Buyer Initiated Payment etc.)

- Work with global stakeholders to drive the strategy for Spend analysis offering

- Enhance the process as well as the solution through innovation and automation

- Work with regional business stakeholders to develop better procedures and client offerings, solve problems and investigate issues.

- Strengthen the team by providing strategic and leadership support, and help them acquire new Talent, knowledge & skills

- Support internal projects and cross functional processes

- Manage team Work Distribution / resource management

- Effectively handle additional responsibilities within the Analytics product offerings.

- Share new insights and developments with team members.

- Commitment to team goals and deadlines to ensure results on key business metrics (Quality, Timeliness etc.)

Qualifications:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong consultative insights, data management skills, thought leadership and attention to detail

- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Ability to meet strict deadlines and in a fast paced environment

- Excellent team player

- Proficiency in SAS, VBA

- Effective communication skills and superior command on English

- 8-10 years of work experience with min 5+ years in people management

- Bachelor's degree The successful candidate will have:

- Understanding of dynamic business requirements, conduct robust analysis with complex variables to create all-encompassing analyses that are both valuable and actionable

- Critical thinking ability to exhibit good judgment and intuition (based on experience), knowing when to question outcomes or ask questions based on business/common sense

- Intellectual curiosity with a desire to learn and understand the business
