Job Description : Function Description : - Global merchant financing is one of the growing suite of products within the non card lending portfolio which has a unique set of challenges which needs to be actively managed through innovative strategies in close collaboration with Acquisition, Risk, Product, Enterprise Digital and external partners. - The role will have functional responsibilities in the US Merchant Financing portfolios and people leadership responsibilities in the US MF portfolio as well as the other GBF team based in the India CoE. - The incumbent will be responsible for developing underwriting strategies for existing MF customers and develop active strategies needed to effectively manage them, including but not limited to proactive selection, Prequal, Pre-screened, Pre-approved offers, customized risk cut-offs based on ROI, quality indices and guardrails, recession planning and implementation. - He/she will work in a highly dynamic environment with opportunities to shape existing MF underwriting and portfolio management strategies for US non card lending portfolio. Job Responsibilities : - Lead, develop and enhance the existing MF customer underwriting strategies for the renewals portfolio, leveraging new data sources and innovative techniques - Ensure decisioning cohesion and portfolio performance between the new and the renewals decisioning paths as well as between instant decisioning and manual underwriting - Influence partners and stakeholders to drive risk strategies into production - Partner with teams across Acquisition, other Risk teams, Product and Finance to develop strategies that enable prudent and profitable growth, while controlling for through-the-cycle volatility - Monitor MF acquisition and portfolio performance and react quickly to potential/ emerging issues - Effective people leadership and function as a strategic and communication bridge between the leadership based in the US and the analysts in the CoE - Provide administrative people leadership for the GBF team in India reporting to functional leaders in the US - Build strong relationships and provide proactive and thoughtful communications to stakeholders and partner teams Critical Factors to Success : Business Outcomes : - Drive profitable portfolio growth through revenue growth balanced with prudent loss controls - Leverage advanced data & analytics to gain deep understanding of customers and behaviors - Design best in class processes to provide optimal credit experience Leadership Outcomes : - Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders. - Build the best team through proactive coaching and feedback - Lead with an external perspective, challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings - Demonstrate learning agility, make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity - Lead with a digital mindset and deliver the world's best customer experiences every day Qualifications : Past experience : - At least 3 years+ experience in risk/information management or analytical roles Academic background : - Preferably Masters in any of Engineering, Technology, Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related subjects Functional skills/capabilities : - Risk/Information Management or Data Analytics Technical skills/capabilities : - Data & Quantitative Analytics, Prioritization and project management Knowledge of platform : - General knowledge key risk or data platforms Behavioral skills/capabilities : - Thought leadership, collaboration, communication Job type- Permanent Industry Type - Operations The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
