Primary Responsibilities of this Project Manager role includes:

- Provide thought leadership, with an ability to develop and execute successful strategies

- Lead a group of people working to achieve encouraged results (is not a people leader role)

- Drive implementation of large-scale projects that improve the experience, efficiency, and effectiveness of Global Servicing Group functions through Amex capabilities changes

- Partner with multiple teams including Operations, Capabilities, Automation and Technologies, among others, to develop collaborative approaches while jointly prioritizing and addressing key business opportunities

- Supervise multiple concurrent initiatives and lead the implementation in production

- Enable tactical delivery of strategic themes including making processes easier, faster, and consistent

- Deliver, measure, and report the key success metrics/outcomes and review with the leadership by setting up a robust governance structure

- Provide strong, dynamic leadership to drive projects individually and work as a team player.

Skills Required:

- Understanding of Industry specific tech, process improvement and product development processes, known as a businessperson who can speak both tech and business languages

- Creative thinking, including the ability to identify patterns and propose solutions to long-standing business problems, and ability to act as a catalyst for change

- Must be an outstanding, self-motivated analytical thinker and problem solver, comfortable working with data and able to resolve sophisticated problems independently

- Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and business partners

- Proven track record to quickly adjust to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change

- Proven track record of successfully operating in a highly matrix environment and being able to lead and influence without direct authority, globally

- Strong understanding of Customer Servicing Processes & ability to identify improvement areas

Qualifications - External:

- Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Science or any other graduate.

- 3+ years related experience supporting or leading project team

Preferred Additional:

- Experience in Project Management, Business Management, or similar background is required

- Project management, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

- Proficiency with writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis

- Exposure to R, Python, Hive will be an added advantage
