JD for the position of Manager - Compliance Audit- Band 35, based out of Gurgaon   Job Description :  - Responsible for leading a team in implementing 2nd line testing for key areas of Compliance Risk for International markets.   - This key outcome of this role is to deliver assurance that LOBs and Affiliates are executing processes in a manner that satisfactorily mitigates compliance risk.   - This role is also expected to deliver a testing program that is scalable, consistent and flexible enough to quickly respond to changing expectations from regulators, issue management data trends, customer complaint data and internal audit findings. Position will be based in Gurgaon and will report to the VP Compliance, One India. and will have a team of three B30's reporting into this position.   Key Responsibilities :   - Develop a detailed annual execution plan for 2nd line testing for international markets, based on requirements defined by Market Compliance Officers (MCOs) covering budgeted testing hours per market, calendarization by month of testing activity, resource allocation within the testing team   - Prior to commencement of fieldwork, ensure timely and clear communication of data requirements to LOBs and Affiliates in alignment with MCOs   - Ensure quality of test execution by a team of 3 B30s who will report to this position  - Review working papers and ensure that work performed by the B30 analysts is in accordance with the Compliance Testing Manual  - Ensure timely execution of fieldwork testing  - Support B30s with fieldwork testing as necessary   - Engage effectively with Market Compliance Officers on a regular basis to provide them with periodic status updates of progress against the market's testing plan.   - Support MCOs in assessing the test findings to ascertain degree of risk / non- compliance based on the test results; support MCO's with insights into test experience to enable MCOs define remediation requirements for the LOB / Affiliate to execute   - Produce high quality reports as per global standards and engage effectively with MCO's in finalizing the reports for socialization with the appropriate entities   - Engage with MCOs to detect and identify trends from accumulated test data to adjust the annual testing plan for the year as required   - This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.  Qualifications :  - Minimum of 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in internal audit/consultancy within the Big Four or in a bank/financial institution background. Must come from a bank or financial institution industry.   - The ideal candidate would be someone from a mix of Big 4 audit background plus internal audit experience in a bank/financial institution.   - Strong internal control and validating testing skills is a MUST.   - Strong problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to conceptualize and break down complex issues into actionable tasks   - Ability to think in a logical manner and document test data in a clear and concise manner in testing work papers.   - Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, particularly with regard to internal control findings   - Good people leadership skills to motivate and lead team of direct reports   - A good team player, able to work across multiple markets and stakeholders with high standards of integrity, professionalism and commitment to deadlines   - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage with senior band levels  #NOLI
