<p>Job Description :<div><p><br></p><p>- The American Express IT Risk and Information Security organization is currently hiring a Director of IT Risk Management and Services for the India region reporting to Vice President of IT Risk Management and Services.  This position will be based in Bangalore, India and will responsible for regional, cross-functional leadership across the Technology Risk organization.</p><br>Responsibilities Include:<br><br> Leading Technology Risk organization for the India market<br><br></div><div> <p>Co-leadership with global functional owners of Technology Risk functions for in-market execution of:</p><br>- Enterprise Resiliency<br><br></div><div><p>- Third-party Security and Resiliency</p><div><br></div><p>- Technology and Security Risk Assessments</p><div><br></div><p>- Technology Risks and Controls</p><div><br></div><p>- Security policies, standards, and awareness</p><div><br></div><p>- Operational Risk and business technology risk advisory</p><div><br></div><p>- Regulatory exams, audit, and compliance</p> <br>- Partnering across IT risk and Information Security teams for in-market collaboration.<br><br></div><div> <p>- Closely mentoring and coaching local colleagues</p><div><br></div><p>- Regional talent management - hiring, training, and assessing performance; talent strategy; and encouraging a robust local talent pipeline.</p><div><br></div><p>- Closely mentoring and coaching local colleagues</p><div><br></div><p>- Overseeing India focused business needs on behalf of global functional leaders. </p><div><br></div><p>- Representing Technology Risk and related functions in the India market with business and technology leaders, following standards and&nbsp;</p><p>processes laid by global leaders.</p><div><br></div><p>- Liaising with key stakeholders in the region to help the organization meet it-  s goals.</p><div><br></div><p>- Being a strong advisor to global leaders in matters related to India within the organization.</p><div><br></div><p>- Working closely with global functional leaders on managing progress and performance of key projects, operations, and managing compliance.</p><div><br></div><p>- Assisting with day-to-day cross-functional team needs, escalation points, and shaping and executing on deliverables.</p><div><br></div><p>- Subject matter expertise in the region on markets, regulations, and emerging risks.</p><br>- 12-15 years or more of work experience in risk management, information security, compliance, audit and/or legal. <br><br></div><div> <p>- Demonstrated experience engaging with audit and risk oversight functions, guiding outcomes of regulatory examinations, and overseeing compliance activities.</p><div><br></div><p>- Experienced people leader with demonstrated ability to recruit and retain high performing talent in support of organizational strategy and objectives </p><div><br></div><p>- Experience managing matrixed teams or in a matrixed organization</p><div><br></div><p>- Demonstrated experience developing talent</p><div><br></div><p> Preferred: Appropriate certifications in information security, audit or risk management, e.g. CISSP, CRISC, CISA</p><br>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <br> <br>- Proficiency in information security, risk management and audit (risk/security policies, procedures and controls) <br><br></div><div> <p>- Thorough knowledge of IT processes and controls and a deep understanding of risk and control frameworks e.g. NIST, ISO, CIS Critical Security Controls </p><div><br></div><p>- Good understanding of the organization-  s goals, objectives, and key cyber threats and risks to those objectives </p><div><br></div><p>- Strong analytical skills and thinking, data-driven acumen, proficiency in analysis of risk management data, and knowledge of analytic&nbsp;</p><p>methods</p><div><br></div><p>- Demonstrated ability to quickly pick up new functional and technical areas and provide oversight and direction</p><div><br></div><p>- Strong written and oral communication skills. </p><div><br></div><p>- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively </p><div><br></div><p>- Highly self-motivated and directed, and keen attention to detail  </p><br>The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
