The Colleague & Labor Relations team focuses on providing advice and support to colleagues and people leaders to
resolve workplace issues, develop and interpret policies, and help manage employee conduct and performance. Ensure in driving a fair and consistent colleague experience, support the business and deliver the highest quality employment and labor relations solutions
How will you make an impact in this role?
This role is very niche and requires subject matter expertise and experience in Colleague & Labor Relations.
- Conduct Grievance Investigations under the Grievance and Complaints Procedure and under the India based policies abided by local laws and regulations.
- Timely response to Colleague queries via colleague service center and direct CLR email inbox and provide comprehensive advice on all aspects of the employment relationship
- Regular review and update of Colleague Experience Group policies and procedures as the need arise and if any change in market regulation comes into effect.
- Manage global case management system on an ongoing basis for self and direct reports.
- Vendor management (via appropriate Service Delivery Agreements) in the provision of a wide range of CLR services eg Outplacement Services. Act as the guardian of the employment relationship in India by ensuring that company's values based ethos is demonstrated in all colleague and customer focused transactions.
- In collaboration with the Global CLR Operations team, drive positive work enviroment by designing and imparting relevant CLR trainings in order to build the capabilities of front line leaders and the CEG Community.
- Understand, interpret and analyze changes in India Employment Law in order to develop proactive solutions whilst maintaining CEG compliances effectively.
- Partner with the business in driving Organizational Restructuring
- Administers HR programs and services. Responsible for inquiries regarding HR policies and procedure. Provides analytic support to HR managers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-graduation - MBA HR
- Upto 3 years in Employee/Colleague Relations, Investigations & Grievance Handling, Compliance, Organizational restructuring and Data workstream
- A track record of success within a highly matrixed multi-national environment.
- In-depth knowledge of India Employment Legislation.
- Proven Project management skills and the ability to independently manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills - ability to liaise with all levels of management without authority; create presentations and management reports as tools for strategy formulation and implementation leveraging data insights.
- Ability to navigate a complex internal matrix and work across International Time Zones.
- Build and leverage strong business relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners in order to support Business and HR Goals.
- Proactively identify linkages/partnership opportunities to enhance overall CLR experience and customer service.
- Must be a 'self-starter' with a strong 'will win' and ability to Set the Agenda with accountability.
- Strong ability to Bring Others along as a collaborator with extended CEG, GCO, GSOC etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of CLR/Employment Law/HR Generalist with a strong focus on CLR preferred
