Amazon Global Trade is an important initiative to grow the Amazon Marketplace Seller Business around the world, with the India team focused on cross-border selling from sellers in India catering to customers abroad and sellers across the globe catering to customers in India. The Global Trade team is making revolutionary leaps to scale the exports ecosystem of India by launching new-to-the-world data and ML products.

As a Senior Product Manager, you are someone who is most excited at the intersection of business and science. Designing and launching science backed product and recommendations to highly complex business problems gets you out of bed every morning. You will be primarily responsible delivering a proof-of-concept product, collaborating with a set of scientists, sde and sales stakeholders. You will be making appropriate trade-offs to optimize for quality and time-to-market, clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal and external cross-functional and remote project teams.

You have a strong execution mindset and possess the ability to take initiative to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and autonomously. A day in the life:

In this role, you will:

- Work with product and sales leaders, scientists, data analysts and leadership teams to articulate the right product vision, science development roadmap, and technical requirements.

- Act as a thought leader across Global Trade and develop proposals for think big ideas that drive business growth

- Move the needle on business results through product improvements, experimentation, and relentless focus on measuring customer and business impact.

- Guide the team's analytics roadmap as product owner by managing the product backlog and requirements.

- Communicate the vision, roadmap, and initiatives through written documents and updates.

- Contribute to technical roadmap and architecture decisions through deep appreciation of tradeoffs, constraints, and opportunities.

- Establish best practices that cut across the product, design, engineering, and quality teams to deliver great software products on a consistent and fast cadence.

Basic qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

Preferred qualifications:

- Familiarity with Data Science and Machine Learning tech

- Experience in taking complex products global

- Experience working with analytics and data science teams
