Sr. Product Manager (Tech) - Ads
Advertising is a strategic bet for Amazon and is one of the fastest growing business units within Amazon India. Sponsored Ads is our flagship performance ads product and the backbone of our Advertising business. We are strengthening our offering by continuously building and enhancing product capability to improve shopper engagement and advertiser experience.
We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager - Tech to lead one of the core ad products at Amazon India. You will join a fast-paced team and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out products. You will have a dedicated engineering and ML team and will work with our advertisers, marketing and sales/BD teams. You will manage the complete business of your product area including establishing key metrics, setting and meeting goals on business/product metrics, advertiser engagement, and retention. You will be driving key business and CX metrics for like advertising revenue, ads coverage and relevance for India.
Key job responsibilities:
- Identify IN-first and IN-specific growth opportunities for the advertisement business using data, customer engagement studies and anecdotes.
- Build product capabilities that help improve both advertiser experience (e.g. impressions, sales, ease of ad campaign management) and shopper engagement (e.g. CTR, relevance).
- Create detailed near-term and longer-term roadmap for product.
- Play a key role in go-to-market of product features by influencing Marketing narrative and Sales / Account Management processes.
- Manage all aspects of project including organizing and planning, estimating, managing resources, tracking and controlling, risk & opportunity, quality, documentation and change management.
- Work closely with Tech and ML teams to create execution plans and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Engage frequently with WW leadership to identify collaboration opportunities - e.g. WW expansion of key product capabilities (developed by India team).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's/PG degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
