Sellers form the core of our Amazon marketplace business. In this business, we manage a thin line between managing Seller Experience and arresting defects and cost leakages. Getting this balance right is crucial to driving the marketplace flywheel faster and stronger.
A successful candidate must be able to work independently, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to influence internal/external partners at all levels and teams of the organization. Key job responsibilities :
- Lead IN 3P Marketplace Seller Reimbursements charter and own Seller Reimbursements costs (P&L line item) for each channels
- Define mechanisms and ideate to deter abuse and eliminate defects for short/medium/long term to deliver consistent YoY improvement
- Define reimbursement policies based on marketplace dynamics, abuse landscape, incorporating external inputs such as SIC policy and WW best practices
- Influence and work with critical stakeholder teams (Ops, CS, RCX, CoBW, Fulfilment Channels, etc.) to drive upstream product and process improvements to fix defects that impact SX and reimbursements.
- Lead Credit Operations for IN marketplace across fulfilment channels and seller types on A.in. Also own reimbursements SX metrics (such as claim rate %, TTR, FTR%, SLA Adherence, etc.) around these processes and drive continuous improvements
- Monitor seller feedback to understand critical pain points and areas of dissatisfaction related to reimbursements. Adapt policies, processes, and seller communications to improve SX
- Partner with product and tech teams (SAFE-T, MENA Tech, WW DP&R) to drive automation to reduce manual interventions/investigations.
