Amazon - Program Manager - India Services & Region Expansion

The individual will be part of the India Services and Region Expansion Team at Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) and operate under a Project Management Office setup in India. This core team shall be responsible for driving the strategic roadmap and execution effort for launching the new service region in India and adding new services to it. This is a high visibility project to be run on behalf of the leadership in the organization over the next 24 months. The team shall house extremely high performing candidates with a very high level of analytical rigor, attention to detail, and a strong bias for action with limited supervision.

The work would be highly project oriented (similar to consulting) with 50+ stakeholders across domestic and international teams within AISPL. The Service/Region Launch effort will be driven by a core team leader and the candidate will act as a trusted resource for the leader to drive different workstreams/priorities that would be assigned from time to time based on business requirements.

The overall breadth of projects could include:

- Conceptualizing and Implementing strategic roadmap across workstreams critical for the new region launch in India.

- Driving Internal and External Communication Charter along with Strategic marketing programs

- Aggregating Customer demand for services through PFRs and collaborating with WW Service Expansion teams to prioritize service launches for IN region.

- Support building new mechanisms and lead cadences on a monthly basis across IN and WW Stakeholders

- Developing Monthly business narratives, Adoption KPIs, analytical models, Adoption Milestones Performance Dashboards for India leadership using tools like Tableau, Salesforce, Excel etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Min. 6 years of experience in analytical problem solving in industry or consulting esp.

- Track record of achievement in career positions or high level of academic achievement

- Ability to structure ambiguous business situations into clear analytical frameworks with limited supervision

- Self-Starter with very high attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to interact with and convey structured arguments to high-level business stakeholders

- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and similar tools to handle large data sets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Tier-1 Comp. Sci. Engineering Graduate from reputed institutions.
