Amazon's TRMS team is seeking a tech-savvy Instructional Design Leader with experience in eLearning development, assessment writing, and video capture/editing to support core business training. The Instructional Design team is responsible for driving high quality training content for TRMS investigators located across the globe. This includes creating engaging process and tool content, including instructor led training, eLearning and self-paced learning, virtual classroom design, building tool kits, study guides, and performance support aids for all TRMS global sites. You will be responsible for working with SMEs to develop and make modifications to training modules (eLearning and ILT), creating/updating knowledge and performance assessments. This role is located Hyderabad, India The TRMS Instructional Design Manager will : - Lead and develop a team of Instructional Designers, including some who report remotely. - Be responsible for the full design cycle and maintenance of TRMS training programs. - Manage complex relationships with stakeholders in an environment with short deadlines and high business impact - Maintain design standards and provide coaching and feedback to ensure adherence and consistency - Align instruction to a strategic performance improvement program for the contact center network - Participate in review and selection of instructional tools used by the team. - Co-own success of our strategy for object-oriented sharing to allow reuse of materials. - Drive initiatives to make online learning engaging and efficient. - Contribute to and own the successful implementation of processes and systems to ensure trainees have achieved performance-based objectives - Regularly evaluate the functional needs of our learning management system and advocate for improvements or changes. - Recruit best-in-class talent. - The ideal candidate will be an expert in applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodology in an operational environment. S/he will thrive in a fast-paced environment. 2. Basic Qualifications : 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 2. Five years of proven team leadership experience in a training organization 3. Experience with gamification, adult learning and video execution 4. Demonstrated use of analytical skills in a training organization 5. Fluent understanding in learning object development 6. Ability to travel Preferred : 1. Experience with LMS use 2. Familiar with the Amazon brand and shopping experience 3.
