Category Leader :   - The Amazon Pay balance team is looking for a self-driven Category Lead candidate that has a proven track record of delivering results. He/She will play a critical role in managing multiple high frequency categories such as (Prepaid Recharges, Bill Payments, DTH etc.) to drive the profitability and topline performance for the business.   - The Category Leader is responsible for managing the full scope of their portfolio, defining the vision and targets for the category, interface with the product team to drive the right product goals to enable the categories on Amazon, and drive partnership and marketing efforts to achieve the targets.  - He/she owns the end-to-end relationship with the various aggregators and operators, from identifying and on-boarding new opportunities, negotiating contracts and terms, managing promotional activities and resolving operational issues that impact our customer.   RESPONSIBILITIES :   CUSTOMER FOCUS :  - Identify customer needs through analyzing metrics and providing overviews of industry landscape   - Create plans to address competitive gaps   - Continuously seek information to improve the customer experience   VENDOR MANAGEMENT :   - Expand current selection and secure new brands   - Drive negotiation and manage payment terms and cost structure in contractual agreements   - Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors focused on creating value and growth for vendors and Amazon   - Improve the supply chain, reducing defects, and driving efficiencies   - Drive vendor participation in Amazon programs   BUSINESS OPERATIONS :   - Make decisions regarding pricing, selection, and convenience   - Own Retail P & L for subcategory; develop plans that drive revenue and margin improvements   - Audit all elements of the business (e.g., inputs, outputs, site experience, team performance), performs deep dive analysis on problems to understand root causes, and makes decisions based on data   - Act as an escalation point to respond to customer needs   - Identify opportunities to improve Retail tools and systems and drive scalable solutions   - Manage products from launch to end of life with the goal of automating manual tasks   - Partner with Technical teams to drive process improvements   Basic Qualifications :   - Master's degree required   - Professional experience in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders   - Proficiency with Excel and data analysis   - Experience with process improvement  Preferred qualifications :  - Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance   - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation   - Negotiations, analytical, vendor and/or project management experience   - Understanding of the Prepaid Recharges/ Bill payments domain and preferably worked with a fast paced payments organization.   - Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment   - Strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistics software   - Experience with pricing and selection strategy  Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
