JOB TITLE : Manager - Supply Chain & Warehousing

Reporting : This position will report to the CEO.

Role :

Supply Chain Strategy:

- Understanding the strategic framework for the brand in accordance with the overall Corporate Strategic direction, create merchandising plans in line with the requirement under the guidance of CEO

- Elaborates supply chain strategy for India base on relevant information about sales forecast and production capacity of SL factory, through cooperation with Sales Department and SL Manufacturing Team.

- Prepare budget for the logistic department base on sales forecast for better-cost control and efficiency.

- Participate in defining logistic budget for financial year and control its respect, in order to assure the correct monitor of supply chain contribution within the Area of competence.

Supply Network Planning:

- Understanding the sales forecast from MBO,LFS & E-Biz Sales/Marketing Head

- Providing monthly rolling forecasts to the SL manufacturing team, placing orders along with expected delivery dates.

- Follow up with SL manufacturing for delivery dates, shipment schedule and communicate to the IND team

Warehousing and Transportation Management (Primary & Secondary shipments):

- Distribute goods both to affiliate companies warehouses and directly to customers, using all means of transport (trucks, container and air).

- Ensures the monitoring of Logistics Providers, in terms of quality level of receiving, storing, handling and shipping processes.

- Ensures the optimal management of transportation in compliance with defined quantity and timing.

- Oversee the fulfilment of shipping & custom issues.

- Check and approve container capacity plans in order to make sure all containers are effectively used so as to minimize cost and maximize transportation efficiency.

- Ensure import/export/ domestic transfer of goods is clearly, cleanly, specifically executed

- Manages the shipping of general materials and requested.

- Ensure the benchmarking and scouting within the Logistic Providers market. Support the possible negotiations with new providers.

Stock management:

- Decide on the buying plan in terms of styles, colors & SKU wise

- Monitoring the stock levels across the retail value chain - distributor/warehouse/stores

- Identifying slow moving stocks for consumer promos, managing write offs

Personal Profile:

- Graduate in Apparel Manufacturing, Supply Chain from NIFT or equivalent institute

- 10+ yrs of experience preferably in Retail Industry

- Analytical and methodical

- Able to plan and think ahead
