Job description:
Technical Validation:
- Be able to understand customer technical and business requirements
- Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements
- Be able to recommend solutions that optimize value for the customer
- Be able to recommend how the solutions can be adapted for a customers unique business requirements
RFP/RFI engagements and proposals:
- Set up high-level project timelines for the RFP response Identify & secure resource requirements from relevant groups (PMs/Dev/ADP) and coordinate all components/inputs to the answer
- Produce solution-related documentation for IT customer proposals
Solution Scoping and Technical Integration:
- Be able to define technical specifications for new software and scope technical integration with other systems
- Be able to leverage product knowledge to drive system customization discussions
System Demonstration Delivery
- Be able to build and deliver advance demonstrations of the software
- Be able to create proof of concepts and perform solution benchmarks
- Be able to configure the software setup to meet customers business requirements
Internal coordination and communication:
- Need to be able to work with a team of sales and account managers
- Be able to alert account teams of potential technology and integration risks
- Be able to coordinate with product solution experts
- Be able to share industry feedback with product managers
- Be able to coordinate handover from sales to Delivery team
Key Personal Attributes:
- must be able to work independently , following general management guidelines, but also be able to liaison across multiple team
- must be a self starter, with willingness to learn new skills
Education:
- Masters degree in related field (Operations Research, Engineering, Statistics// Data Science)
Expertise:
- 5+ years in the relevant roles relating to airline network planning. Can be direct experience performing network planning at an airline, or at consulting firm or other airline IT vendor.
- Past experience in sales, consulting, product management is highly valued.
- International experience in the IT sector is also highly valued.
- Fluency in English is a must and fluency in other languages is a plus.
