Job Description:
- Research of supplier’s based in India and abroad for Hygiene product raw material
- Costing of products and evaluation based on cost efficiency
- Closely working with R&D to fulfill their requirement of new material for product
- Development and make sure availability of material of best quality and supportive vendor base.
- Development of vendors for new product specifications
- To manage and look after the imported raw materials
- To co-ordinate for urgent material requirement delivery as per production planning.
- Strengthening existing vendor source and developing alternate source of suppliers
- Designing purchase schedules for timely procurement of material for up coming Projects
- Evaluating & negotiating with vendors for price & various other terms & conditions.
- Inviting tenders from vendors/ contractors, evaluating techno-commercially and awarding
- Purchase orders/work contracts after techno-commercial negotiation.
Desired Candidate:
Science Graduate/Engineer/MBA with 6-10 years of relevant experience
Abilities:
- A competent individual with comprehensive understanding of Vendor development, Supply chain, procurement and logistics etc
- Can work in a team as well as lead the team.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, quick learner and ready to take challenges.
- Excellent observer with analytically approach towards tasks.
