Asst Manager -- Transportation --- MNC Durable Major ( Pan India Role )

- Manage the freight negotiations for primary and secondary transportation

- Regular market visits to track the freight rates trends

- Monitor and review the transporter’s performance

- Identify and induct new transporters

- Prepare primary and secondary freight budgets

- Monitor and review freight cost per ton

- Undertake initiatives to reduce in-transit damages

- Track the in-transit delays and take corrective action for their closure

- Monitor the insurance cases and liaise with corporate finance for insurance claims

- Monitor the vendor payment performance
