The primary responsibility of the role is to explore business opportunities of new products, checking the compatibility of the product line with the available facilities at Anchor. Conceptualize, design and execute product marketing plans including supporting new customer and market acquisition, improving profits and driving loyalty among customers. Keep abreast of industry trends, market influencers, as well as the general ecosystem of the industry landscape
Strategy & Planning:
- Track industry trends globally and locally and have a comprehensive knowledge of competitive environment including knowledge of competitors' products, pricing, promotion and placement.
- Define product details, messaging, and core market differentiation; ensure consistent positioning through all channels of communications - internal & external.
- Frame product marketing strategies and prepare the yearly planning process and marketing plans.
- Develop the financial aspects of new product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
- Monitor the external environment to identify areas of improvement in the department and suggests methods for improving efficiency, quality and costs of marketing campaigns.
