Assistant Manager- Product Control MNC KPO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review of key daily, weekly and monthly tasks as below

- Preparation of daily P&Ls (facilitation and sales) – leading to review

- Daily Capital requirement calculation – leading to review

- Month end Balance Sheet substantiation;

- Preparation of monthly Rule 1(A) calculation

- Assistance in the preparation of monthly management pack for the business

- Preparation of Annual financial statements of entities for which the team is responsible

- Review of monthly GST returns

- Once a good working knowledge of the key tasks has been developed, it is expected that you will develop improvements in terms of efficiency (speed of delivery) and presentation (to aid business review).

- Regularly face off against senior members of the Trading Desks to resolve issues, support junior staff and also maintain positive client relationships

- Train and mentor new staff members.

- Involved in new products and initiatives and help develop the reporting framework, documentation of processes and procedures and working out month end processes including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and implication for capital reporting

- Improve the control environment that the Business operates in.

- Represent Finance in the review and approval of new trading strategies and products through the NPA process.

KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Strong IT skills, including ACCESS, EXCEL and other Microsoft office applications

- Preferable to have knowledge on PSGL and Microstrategy reporting tool

QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 4 years post qualification experience and for CA profiles and minimum 5years of relevant product control experience for non CA profiles.
