Assistant Manager - Product Control

Location-NCR

- Assist with production of FO-BO-GL Reconciliations and Reporting for the specific Global Markets business.

- Understand & review the functioning of various front office, middle office, back office & GL systems.

- Review the preparation of P&L, Off Market rate checking, & analysis of the breaks & other reconciliations prepared by the team, & assist in other activities.

- Assistance to the Manager in day-to-day and periodic reporting requirements and provide leave and off days cover for other staff.

- Acquire knowledge in banking / financial services domain

- Identify opportunities for development and drive changes independently

- To produce accurate and timely MI being generated in conjunction with the onshore teams

- Work towards right first time processes/checks as per FIM guidelines

- Adhere to control process which are in place to maintain data integrity

Qualifications -

- BCom /M Com/ CA(Inter)/ CWA (Inter): 5-8 years of work experience CA/CWA/MBA: 2-7 years of work experience

Knowledge & Skills

- The jobholder must possess a good understanding of Global Markets products, its various desks and accounting rules, their financial reporting requirements and key internal controls. A working knowledge of derivatives and structured products would be a strong advantage.

- Ability to manage the service delivery of a designated processes

- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills

- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with staff across cultural boundaries.

- Proficiency in MS Excel is Mandatory and other MS Office will be an advantage

- Lean/Quality Orientation – Six Sigma Certified/trained proven by process improvements achieved in previous roles
