AM - Process Capability - Logistics/Supply Chain - FMCG

Purpose of the Job: To assess and enhance process capability in the logistics and supply chain value chain through structure, best-in-class -solutions, and interventions.

Key Focus Areas:

- Process capability assessment

- Assessment of logistics and delivery metrics

- Customer Relationship Management

- Logistics assessment and benchmarking solutions

- Route optimization and networking solutions

Accountabilities:

- To rollout of all kinds of process interventions from conceptualization to implementation in order to enhance Supply Chain success factors pertaining to OTIF, JIT,D(-1,) deliveries.

- Evaluate aspects of cost optimization and process capability enhancement by assessing warehouse design, routes, deliveries, technological interventions and lean inventories.

- Conceptualization of extent of modernization: Assess scaling and further implementation of Modern warehouses to proactively factor in future requirements.

- Explore aspects of automation and efficiency in Supply Chain Operations including but not limiting to Automation (AGVs / ASRS).

- Understand technology and redraft process and implementation to the entire PDCA cycle Take feedback / learning for above and suggest changes.

Skills Required:

- Strong Analytical Skills and conceptual knowledge

- Exposure to Supply Chain & Logistics

- Strong Understanding of Supply chain networks

- Knowledge of Network, Optimization & Benchmarking Solutions

Internal & External Linkages:

- Ops team

- Logistics projects team (automation and new technologies)

- SAP and APU teams (new or modify process)

- Field team for implementation

- Rest of Logistics & SC team for project facilitation and execution.

- Bodies and Confederations on Supply Chain, Kaizen, CII, Institute of Logistics, Consultants.

Prior Experience:

- Atleast 3-5 years FMCG/ Consumer Durables

Education: MBA from Tier 1 campus shall be considered (2009/2010/2011 Batch of Premier B-schools).

Position is presently based in Kolkata but candidates should be mobile and ready to relocate.
