Assistant Manager – Order Fulfillment Operations reports to Manager – Fulfillment Operations

Role Definition

- The company is looking for an Assistant Manager – Order Fulfillment.

- This is a key operational role and we are looking for a candidate with a good Supply Chain experience encompassing Vendor Management, Warehousing and Logistics – to match the company’s growth plans.

The key responsibilities of the selected person would be:

- Getting the Order Fulfillment Operations executed as per the demand profile and meet Customer expectations

- Manage relationships with outsourced logistics partners. Negotiate rate contracts and ensure timely MIS on logistics and fulfillment operations

- Continuously Drive improvements in the Vendor-facing fulfillment processes

- Manage overall cost-to-serve with a focus on improved productivity and efficiency in Order Fulfillment operations

- Managing people and motivating teams

- Track key process and fulfillment metrics

Profile Requirements (Qualification & Experience)

- Graduate/Engineering Graduate or NITIE Graduate with specialization in operations management

- 4- 10 years of work experience in managing processes - preferably vendor facing processes, warehouse operations and/or logistics functions preferably in high growth FMCG/ Retail Company

- Exposure/Hands on experience in managing Vendor fulfillment and relationships in a high growth environment

- Good communication skills

- Has hands-on experience in managing processes and ability to work across cross-functional teams
